What is RSS?

RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication, is a format that enables easy distribution and updating of headlines and blogs to personal Web pages, news readers, search engines, and authorized Web sites. An RSS reader is basically a specialized type of Web browser that regularly checks a list of Web sites that you specify and pulls in the newest content from those sites. We hope that our RSS feed will provide you with faster, easier access to our GPP news and events.

How do I use RSS?

To use RSS, you must use a reader that will allow you to collect and display the various RSS feeds. There are several free RSS news readers available -- just search "RSS reader". The latest Internet Explorer and Safari Web browsers have RSS support built-in, and they will automatically sense the presence of our news feed and display an RSS icon in or near the address bar that you simply click to view and subscribe.
