2008 GPP Membership Drive Starts Rolling

POSTED BY admin  •  November 25, 2007

ATLANTA, Georgia – It’s time to renew your commitment to the film, video, music, and interactive production industry in Georgia. Your financial participation and involvement are critical in continuing to bring business to our state. As you know, your support helped put our issues front and center with the Georgia General Assembly and the Governor’s office in past years. Working with the Governor’s Film, Video & Music Advisory Commission, the Georgia Film, Video & Music Office, and the Georgia Office for Economic Development, good progress is being made to build on the successes of the past. It’s vital that we continue to look forward to expanding our incentives, and to speak with one unified voice. Please renew your membership to GPP prior to December 31, 2007, as the 2008 Georgia Legislative Session and any subsequent lobbying efforts will begin in earnest the second week of January.

Partner with us prior to December 31, 2007, and you may claim a tax deduction for this calendar year, or make your commitment by our normal deadline of January 31, 2008. Either way, it is important to solidify and mobilize our organization as soon as possible. Let us know if you require an official printed invoice from the GPP for your membership payment. We’ll be more than happy to accommodate your request.

If you currently have an Individual Membership, you may want to consider upgrading to a Corporate Membership. For large or small businesses that wish to put their company status behind the Georgia production community and the legislative efforts of the GPP organization, Corporate Membership allows for 2 persons with 2 votes to represent your company. Your business contact information and Web link will also be featured prominently on our Corporate Members page, along with an easily importable database file for visitors to the GPP site. If you’d like to make the switch, go to the following link, choose the Corporate Membership button, and follow the instructions for making your payment…
