Jeffrey Yu is a multimedia design professional with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. He was born in the United States to Taiwanese parents and currently resides in Alpharetta, Georgia. In 2012, Jeff graduated from SCAD, earning a double Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sequential Arts and Animation.
Throughout his career, Jeff has worked on a wide range of projects, including digital platforms such as VR experiences featured in national museums across the US. He has also contributed to shows on popular streaming platforms like Netflix and Discovery+, video games, real-time animated televised cartoon series, as well as print media like board games, card games, and graphic novels. Apart from his artistic pursuits, Jeffrey actively fosters the growth of the animation community as the Business Director of ASIFA-South, an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer-run Animation Society. He is also a partner in Slothique, an award-winning multimedia animation production company.
In his leisure time, Jeff enjoys engaging in pen-and-paper role-playing games, exploring immersive video game worlds, practicing martial arts, and delving into science and history. He has a deep passion for cooking as a culinary enthusiast. Above all, Jeff holds a special place in his heart for his spirit animal, the humble sloth, and finds joy in embracing his connection with this fascinating creature.
