Welcome to the 2022 Board of Directors election page.
This year there are only two positions up for election.
Open Board Positions/Duties
Internal Governance- This committee shall advise and provide support to the officers, committee chairs and membership regarding the Rule of Parliamentary Procedure and By Laws. For the position of Chair of Internal Governance, Melissa Goodman is running uncontested.
Government Relations- This committee shall provide a flow of information between the Georgia Production Partnership and the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office, as well as the advisory board and advocated for our industry in the Georgia Legislature. For the position of Chair of Government Relations there are two candidates: Craig Miller and Randall Franks.
Voting will be open and available from December 1, 2022 through December 30, 2022. The election results will be announced within 48 business hours after the voting closes. Newly elected GPP Board Directors will begin their terms at the Board of Directors Meeting held in the month of January following the election.
Chair, Internal Governance
Melissa Goodman
Melissa Goodman has been working for SAG-AFTRA as the Executive Director since 1992. Prior to coming to SAG and AFTRA in 1985, Melissa worked at a talent agency in Atlanta. Melissa Goodman is an active board member of the Georgia Production Partnership, where she has served since the late 1990’s. She is currently the chair of the Internal Governance Committee.
Chair, Government Relations
Craig Miller
CRAIG MILLER is a filmmaker and founder of Craig Miller Productions. He played an integral role in the passage the Georgia Entertainment Incentive Act in 2008 as the Co-President of the Georgia Production Partnership. Craig was co-president for four terms and has served on the GPP Government Relations Committee for ten years.
