The History of Our Organization

Georgia film and television industry decision makers began meeting in 1995 around a table at Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta, Ga. to discuss common needs, issues and ideas that would help grow the state’s industry.

These Georgia Production Partnership meetings continued for nearly 30 years with leaders developing vital industry strategies which forged the need for a more formal organization and key leaders to represent the group including a volunteer board of directors.
