GPP engages state legislators to sustain the production tax incentive. We work with government and economic development representatives around the state to share information about the industry. We share information to help Georgians gain a more complete grasp of the impact that the film, TV and digital entertainment our cities and towns across the state. We connect state residents to their local government representatives – and encourage dialogue.

We hold monthly Meetings in the Atlanta area to provide topical information and encourage participation in the industry. Monthly Members Only Mixers provide members the chance to build relationships within the community. Our periodic Regional Meetings enable us to reach more Georgians with information on opportunities that the fi lm and digital entertainment industries can bring to each community. By sponsoring Film Festivals throughout the state GPP helps to promote their events and the local talent that they spotlight. Our organization works to support the Georgia Film Office, and its Camera Ready Program based in every county in the state.

The PA Academy is a two day, boot camp-style Production Assistant training workshop tailored for local individuals looking to advance their knowledge of what it takes to succeed as an office or on-set production assistant working on commercials, industrials, music videos, independent films, television series and studio features. The GPP Membership Directory is used by organizations looking to fi ll roles in the industry. GPP’s Speakers Bureau provides organization and industry participants to speak on topics of relevance.
