Honnie Korngold is a producer and co-founder of South Georgia Studios, a 112-acre premier, purpose-built studio campus development consisting of 125,000 square feet of sound stages, mill, offices and backlot.
Honnie’s film production company, CineVantage is based in South Georgia. CineVantage launched in 2009 with the series Travel with Spirit, which aired for 7 seasons and was viewed weekly in over 150 countries. Since that time, CineVantage has continued to specialize in film and television projects that seek to not only entertain, but also inspire.
Honnie has been invited to share her unique approach to independent filmmaking to audiences around the world at events such as the Cannes International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival among many other print and broadcast outlets.
Honnie is also the Founder of the Story to Screen Conference and Co-founder of PhilanthroFilms, a Georgia nonprofit dedicated to educating and building up the workforce for the film industry in South Georgia.
Honnie is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Women in Film.
