A production studio that broke ground in Athens last November will be larger than initially expected.
Athena Studios has bought an additional 65 acres for back lots and stage space to add to its 45-acre site off Athena Drive in an industrial part of East Athens, WSB radio reported.
Developer Joel Harber said last year that the 350,000 square-foot studio’s first phase would be completed in November 2022, with the whole project taking about two years to build out.
