Production Accounting Instructor
The Georgia Film Academy is seeking an experienced Production Accountant to team-teach the GFA Production Accounting & Office Management course. This college class provides students with a broad understanding of the processes, protocols, paperwork and computer programs utilized within the Production Accounting and Production Office departments in the film and television industry, focusing on the knowledge, practical skills and work routines required for entry-level jobs.
The course focuses on the following: the relationship between the Production Office and the overall production; the importance of the communication hub that exists between the Office, Set and Post-Production teams; and the guidelines and reporting practices that are used to track and manage the finances of a production. Practical elements are created through the use of actual production software and scenario simulations.
Experience:
-5+ years of experience in production accounting, including office management, production office management, or some related experience
- College Degree preferred
